1. Ryoji Ikeda at The Strand

Ever wondered what it would be like to walk into a black hole? Royji Idekda’s mind-blowing data-verse exhibition will give you the closest experience you can get through immersive art…

Manipulating sound and light with 6 colossal Meyer SB-1 speakers and an impressive light show, this multi-sensory exploration has been described by the Guardian as a “spectacular sensory overload”, “Brain-meltingly good” by Timeout, and as “one of the most intense art-experiences” by the Londonist.

2. Van Gogh Alive at Kensington Gardens

Head over to Kensington Gardens this September because the world’s most visited immersive experience is back in London, exhibiting the life and work of the famous impressionist artist, Vincent Van Gogh.

This total artistic immersion will transport you into the art itself through a blend of digital displays, sound effects and projection mapping, giving visitors the chance to discover Van Gogh’s brilliance in 360 degrees.

3. London Design Festival

Get ready for some incredible art because the prestigious London Design Festival is returning to London in September for the 19th time!

200 events will take place across 10 nearby districts in London that blend together different types of art, drawing in the greatest thinkers, practitioners, retailers and educators in the world of design. Over the years, the festival has commissioned some of the biggest names in design and has hosted some of the most iconic artistic structures in the city.

Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser

4. Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser at the V&A

Explore the iconic tale of Alice and her journey to Wonderland in this brilliant immersive exhibition that traces the story’s origins, adaptions and reinventions across 157 years. From original Disney illustrations used in 1951 to Royal Ballet costumes to the impact it has had on pop culture in the 20th and 21st century, you won’t be disappointed – book here.
